On behalf of the international advisory committee, we, the publishing committee, are pleased to announce that selected contributions in the forthcoming ISSPIC17 will be published in the special issue of The Journal of Physical Chemistry C entitled "Current Trends in Clusters and Nanoparticles".

Submission to this themed issue is based on the invitation from the guest editors: Profs. Tatsuya Tsukuda (The University of Tokyo), Akira Terasaki, (Kyushu University) and Atsushi Nakajima (Keio University). Those who have already accepted the invitation are requested to submit their original papers in the time window from September 1, 2014 to October 31, 2014.

In addition to the regular invitations, the publishing committee would like to invite several more authors based on the abstracts of their presentations. Those who are interested in contributing to the themed issue are requested to submit their abstracts by May 31, 2014 via the abstract submission form.

We would appreciate your kind understanding that we may not be able to invite all the presenters.
